Resurging Hope: The Power to Rise Again (TEDx Wilmington Women)

Hope allows us to look beyond the horizon and points us to the silver lining.

Danielle shares about The Power of Hope in an increasingly challenged world – including firsthand stories of her mother, daughter, and grandson.

Today only 46% of families have 2 parents. At the same time 2/3 of single parent households are below the poverty line.

We all have the power to give hope to those who need it most – and can impact future generations too.

Danielle is an award winning speaker and author. Her organization empowers single young moms to graduate college, raise successful families and become leaders and community changers. She speaks to thousands of teens yearly, empowering them to build a platform of success in every area of their lives through A Door of Hope. Before becoming a non-profit and ministry leader, Danielle worked as an engineer for Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies. She graduated from University of Delaware with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and earned her masters of Theological Studies degree from Palmer Theological Seminary. Danielle and her husband, Frank, live in Delaware with their four children.
